Maca Turmeric Super Smoothie

Wake up to this sunny and nourishing super smoothie!   We’ve blended together the power of turmeric and maca; superfoods that have been around for centuries.

Curcumin is what makes turmeric so healthy, it’s a powerful anti-inflammatory and a strong antioxidant.   Maca has been used to increase stamina, boost energy, balance hormones, and strengthen your immune system, just to name a few of the health benefits.   Give this delicious smoothie a whirl and let us know what you think!

Prep time: 5 mins

Ingredients: 
1 ripe persimmon
1 spotty banana
1 large piece of fresh turmeric
1 large carrot, peeled
1 Tbsp maca powder
2 cups coconut water (or h20)

Steps:

  1. Place all ingredients in your high powered blender and blend until smooth and frothy.

Add ice if you prefer a thicker smoothie, or pre-freeze your ingredients for a frosty shake!
