Chia seeds – they may be tiny but they sure are fierce! High in healthy Omega-3s, protein, fibre, and calcium, Chia seeds pack a nutritional punch that are hard to beat. You can add them to all sorts of different recipes… one of my favourite recipes is this super simple Maple Cinnamon Chia pudding that truly makes this tiny seed shine! Have it for breakfast, as a mid-day snack, or even dress it up with fun toppings for a healthy dessert.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Chill time: 3 hours
1 cup chia seeds
6 cups Cashew “Mylk” or water
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp maple syrup (add more if desired)
pinch of seal salt (optional)
- In a large container (or multiple smaller ones), combine chia seeds, Cashew “Mylk” (or water), cinnamon, maple syrup, and sea salt
- Stir well
- Allow to refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow for the chia seeds to swell and create a “pudding”.
- Serve the pudding topped with your favourite fruit, nuts, seeds, go crazy!

You can adjust this recipe by adding more chia for a thicker consistency, or less chia for a lighter consistency.
